By the way, till now the Panchnamas of 1 lakh 18 thousand voters without photographs have been completed by the Mumbai City District Election Department. The Election Commission of India is constantly insisting on including photos in the voter list. For this, a campaign is being run across Maharashtra. The commission is trying its best that there is no error of any kind in the voter list. In order to prepare an error-free and accurate voter list, door-to-door meeting of voters without photo in the qualifying voter list on January 1 is being conducted through BLOs in the constituency.

8 lakh names will be removed from the voters list of Thane district due to lack of photo!
