Jammu Kashmir Hindi News: An incident of cloudburst and landslide has come to light in Ramban, Jammu and Kashmir. Due to this devastation on Thursday, the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway had to be closed. Two people are reported to have died in the incident. It was told that many people have also been injured. According to preliminary information, due to the landslide, the highway has been closed for traffic due to stone falls and landslides in Ramban.
Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44) is blocked at Mehed, Cafeteria, Ramban due to landslides and stone fall, Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police said. However, vehicular movement is happening from Mughal Road and SSG Road. The highway is the lifeline of the Kashmir Valley and the main road connecting Kashmir with the rest of the country. Trucks going to Kashmir pass through the highway laden with essential supplies and other vehicles and trucks carrying fruits from Kashmir to the rest of the country pass through this road.
